The Independent Contractors Guild of WNY is a nonprofit New York State Registered Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program dedicated to strengthening the construction industry by uniting contractors under a shared mission. Our organization provides contractors with the opportunity to participate in a recognized apprenticeship program, equipping them with a skilled workforce trained to meet industry standards.
Our Vision
By fostering apprenticeships, we not only create sustainable career pathways for aspiring tradespeople but also build a strong labor force to meet the growing industry. Additionally, we advocate for our members, working to secure project opportunities within the community that promote economic growth and equity in the trades.
